1 week and 1 day before we start the fun ;)

can you start to confirm who we plan to meet where on the Friday ride up?

route is:
Settle to Hawes then over buttertubs to Nateby and back down to Sedburgh on A683 [wont do Alsten and hartside as it took too long last year] then into Kendal and up the A6 to Penrith. M6 and A75 to Dumfries, then back roads to Dalbeatie, Castle Douglas then out to Lochken activity ctr on the A712
friday to lochken

I am assuming the following, but you know what the say about assume?

meeting at my house Friday morning or stopping over Thursday night. - peteL, D1ckiebig and mate
meeting in settle - Ady, Budd, Flatty and perhaps Cheekykev [just for the ride]
meeting in Hawes - nobody
meeting in Dumfries - Grumpyfrog, Mag@sport and BVG
meeting at Campsite - all the Irish crew
not sure where - the North East & Kent crew

so can you advise any changes on this

Kent crew (Mafia) can't make it. They've run out of kitchen passes. The Gentlemen of Tynedale will see you at Loch Ken.

Me, Stavros, WellGroomed and Edward are definates. Noisy Andy (1290) is a possible. He's working on the Friday but it's less than 2 hours from Hexham so he may just turn up. Or, depending on the pub, he may not. You'll hear him coming if he does....

Al, I went over to Settle today, and to Hawes, then over Buttertups pass, I'm not sure what route you're thinking of to Settle, but just to give you a bit of warning, the road from Gisbon>Long Preston has been re surfaces with all that loose stuff they expect us to compact down.
There's not much chance of playing on that road at the moment, you really are down to 20 mph.
Might be best to avoid that stretch, maybe straight over to Skipton then up the A65 would be better.

Thanks Kev, I usually use that road to come in, so if it’s that bad I will go via skipton. M

Can you go and test it next Thursday :D

Fabio, it’s going to be epic. You missed last year, and with NI storm to get you excited, so you must be off the scale
