I agree with Grumpyfrog, its better to have a few options to chose form on the day...... unlike last year when we all thought somebody else would have a route and do the run leaders role !! 8O

and with the size of group we are going to have, it will be hard work to get more than 200 miles. all of us who have lead a ride know the toughest part is every time you stop [to let people catch up, or to have a pee break, or petrol, of lunch or or] you have to herd cats to get everybody back on their bikes and riding again.

will also be a good if everybody who is coming has read about the 2nd man drop off marking system click here to read the marking system rules and asks any questions if they are not sure how it works.

but its only 3 weeks away now and I am getting exited :D

stealing a trick from my last ski trip ...... it will be a good idea to share all the mobile phone numbers [via private message] and set up a WhatsApp group for everybody on the ride, so information, location, photos and piss taking can be quickly shared.

happy to do that, so if everybody sends me their mobile [and downloads the WhatsApp app] I will set up a Yorkshire vtr group

anybody thinking of turning up on the day, you need to get your number to me so we don't leave without you

Just to confirm, all bedding will be at the digs?
Food and ale from the pub? Breakfast??
Is there a kettle? I don't function till 3 coffees kick in...
So I need to bring a nightcap bottle or sort out on Friday??
Don't hassle me

Gabi confirmed bedding & towels are provided at the bunk house.

Hope grub is available in the pub for breakfast ... gabi can you confirm.

if I can remember I will bring some coffee in a bag

long range weather looks good for the weekend, and with the football and the royal wedding on, I am hoping all the idiots will be sat at home infront of the TV and there will be less people out on the roads

I was up there on Saturday about midday doing the first part of the Western route and there was hardly any traffic
