Has anyone ever had a problem on a track day with db levels?

if you have std cans you will be fine on any track day

if it is a low noise track day I had to fit std cans, but last time at Cadwell, it was a higher noise limit [105dB] and I was OK with my race cans......... but I still had my std cans in the car just in case I failed

It's (102db) and akrapovic full system someone mentioned they sell/loan baffles at the track. Used a db detector app on my phone was 112db but obviously not sure of accuracy of app.

Brands Hatch is 102db, I got tested there last year on the limit at 102db and they told me I'd be black flagged as they have noise meters all round the circuit and it would fail those ones. they didn't pull me in though so must have been just ok. That was with Micron cans without baffle inserts. with the lower limit your better off with standard cans fitted, go over and they won't let you out, they are strict.

With your full system it might be better to buy some baffle inserts before hand and not leave it to chance, expensive day if your made to watch

Brands has different limits on different days, depending on the organiser.
But watch out for the dvenibg session if you have a full day, as the limit can be lower for the evening session.

However I've never been retested between pm and evening so you'll probably get away with it.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

it's probably cause you blew out he db meters with those carbon cans and HC pistons in the yellow storm and didn't have a replacement meter to retest.
