Couldn't you check beforehand with a sound meter app you can get for your phone, how db accurate they are I don't know but you could try both cans to see the difference with without baffles?

Yes. I've got a tent, but not sure what time I'm arriving yet.

They're only accurate to about 90dB because a phone mic isn't designed for that unfortunately.

Tony - no you don't book it. Just turn up, sometimes a guy comes round in a van and collects money, it is £10.
There is all night security on site and toilets / shower facilities.

Unless you have a contagious disease, there's plenty if room in the field hotel.
It sleeps 12.
Just bring a bedroll and two sleeping bags, it'll be cold....

Ha ha. None that are diagnosed. What time are you planning on arriving? I'll aim to be there to help pitch camp.

Kind of ready. The bike has been ridden up the drive but that is as far as it has moved under its own power in the last 10 years. But its on fresh fluids all round.

Not sure if i will be up Sunday yet though

Probably need to make it early enough that it's light. About 4pm I would guess.

I will be there Sunday afternoon.

If needed, i can bring some gas camping cookers, lights, tables, chairs etc. its sound like the evening BBQ may be arranged. I would be happy to do a bacon butty in the morning and a burger at lunch, it wont be sh!te either. I am at the wholesaler tomorrow. I could sort something out if you are interested?

Sounds great but I'm veggie so will sort myself out. Cardboard, sorry, veggie burgers or something. They wash down OK with plenty of

Probably be there between 5 and 6 but will be earlier if I can.

Sounds good

Tables and chairs would be good, I'll have genny for plug in lights and heater if needed. As long as it doesn't use all my fuel for the tyre warmers:-)

I was going to aim at three or half past as itll start getting colder after that. It'll take half an hour or so to get the tent up.
Yes please for meat and I'll pay you on the day.
I assume youll also have bread or pittas? Otherwise i can get those on the way in.

I'll also bring some chairs and a table, and if we have mains power, some lights.

Hopefully less dramas than i had earlier today
