Don't go scaring off the newbies watty , I'm really a nice guy under this deranged metalhead exterior , but alas you are correct am indeed always up for it as long as it involves bikes, drugs and rock and roll.

If we do manage to get a ride together It doesn't matter how many turn up, and it would be nice to get firestorms together locally.
Who knows it might turn out to be a regular thing.
There are some nice roads and pubs hereabouts.

A mate of mine took me out kinda Bakewell direction a few weeks ago, that had some lovely roads but couldn't really get away from traffic. We headed up to the roundabout at Norton, straight on (coming from Gleadless) and then right but I'm lost after that

There are good fairly traffic free roads in north Notts - Lincolnshire and or north west of Barnsley if you know how to find them.
I know a couple of fairly decent routes out Derbyshire way if no one else knows any I could lead.
We need a guide, any offers?

This weekends a possible mate , you're right there are some decent roads in lincs but can be a little stop start with the speed limits , good round Cadwell etc , go allover Derbyshire great road down to Stoke via flint ,bakewell etc ,one of my favourite roads is Barnsley to Glossop then down to matlock and back over to Sheffield
