Mini OP Storm Northumberland?

Post by KermitLeFrog »

I know it's a bit late in the season but who would be interested in something based around the Northern Pennines and the Scottish Borders? Plenty of fab roads around here as some of you well know. Not just the classics like Hartside but some hidden gems like the B6399 up to Hawick or the stuff down through Blanchland. Some of the A roads are mega too. Plenty of campsites and pubs. It's even sunny at the moment and the east side of the Pennines is much dryer than the west.

Wot you fink?

Sounds good mate , any thoughts on dates? Might not get many takers unfortunately but would be a good day out with an overnight stop at a bed and breakfast.

OK. Looking at what else is going on I'm thinking of 14 to 16 October.

I would be up for riding up there Saturday morning and overnight coming back Sunday. End of June or early July would be a good warm up for Scotland.

That seems a better idea. 25th June or 16th July would both work for me.

OK, let's go for 25th June or 16th July. Let me know if you have a preference.

I'm going to check out a camp site over the weekend. This one looks promising
