When meeting up with mates Southbound, I usually wait on the bridge over the A12, then it's a case of keeping a lookout and getting the head down & stretching the throttle cable when I spot him.

My tactic caught on camera:

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

If we're aiming to get to Bazzas just before 7:30, then leaving the bridge area at 7:00 would be ideal

Brill - I'll set my cat to wake me up for an early start.

Seems a bit counterintuitive to book a day off work, then plan to get up 2hrs earlier than normal. :(

Please put me down for meeting at Thurrock, I promise to ride near the back so as not to offend everyone with the condition of my bike.

This is for Jamie, Chris and john. I was wondering that we don't have time for coffee, I can meet you at Boreham services rather at home, then we will have time for man huggs.

Sounds good mate, is that the one with a petrol station and McDonalds near a series of roundabouts?

that's the one, John or Chris should be able to guide you, I reckon they frequent Mccy Dee's. Meet in the petrol station.

Is that closer to chelmo than witham? - I'm not familiar with it (more a cornish pasty/scotch egg/delicatessen man...)
