how will you know when he is coming? and if so do you think you can catch him up after he passes?

When meeting up with mates Southbound, I usually wait on the bridge over the A12, then it's a case of keeping a lookout and getting the head down & stretching the throttle cable when I spot him.

If we're aiming to get to Bazzas just before 7:30, then leaving the bridge area at 7:00 would be ideal

Seems a bit counterintuitive to book a day off work, then plan to get up 2hrs earlier than normal.
