Yorkshire Meet Friday 20th May - South East ride up

It looks like Friday's route is planned.

I am meeting Tony at Birchanger Green service J8 on the M11(CM23 5QZ) at around 10.15-10.30, have breakfast and fill bikes then head off around 11am.

Meeting Smiley at Grantham services(NG32 2AB) around 12.30(92 miles)

That will leave a 2 and a half hour ride up A1M etc and we will be getting to the campsite around 3ish.(131 miles) so will require another fill up or two before getting to campsite.

That's covered it.

Anyone else from Kent or Sussex/Surrey could meet up at the Dartford Crossing if you want.

what part of Yorkshire are you heading for

Pete is it convenient for you to meet us there,

It's a bit of a hike over to be honest. I can get to nottingham quicker than I can get there
I'll be coming up the M5/M6 if anyone is coming up west side. Might tell the sat nav to avoid motorways once I get on the north side of Birmingham

I have two sons who live in Stockton on tees, some great rides there which is to the east of your base. if I can arrange a visit to my sons and maybe meet up with you guys .

pete, I might still be going to yorkshire, I get back from USA Friday lunchtime.... just have to work on Paula to get approval for going AWOL for weekend after being away all week flowers should work

so I would be a Friday mid afternoon set off and we can go on the back roads. to get to my new place you would come off M5 about Worcester and go east on A422
