Devon Meet Friday 8th July - South East ride west

Post by bazza696 »

It's getting close so thought I would modify the first thread a bit as Ady is in Germany:

Meet at Clacket lane services (TN16 2ER) at 10am to leave 10.15-30 this will be for Tony, Mac, Chris and Michaela.

Meet gl-s-r and AP at Reading services(RG30 3UQ)J11/12 around 11.30 to 12ish, if he is coming....

May need to stop for fuel on the M4.

Last stop before chalets we could have lunch on the M5 J19 Gordano services (BS20 7XG) at say 1pm, leave at 1.30pm or later depending on lunch.

We should arrive at the park at around 3.30pm.

Worked last year, so we will start with this.

summary
Clacket lane to Reading services 70 miles - 1¼hrs
Reading services to Gordano 87 miles - 1½hrs
Gordano to camp site 100miles - 2hrs

Works for me although I may have company when I turn up at Clacket Lane...

Shame on you Bazza, you forgot Chris & Michaela !

They may be stopping over at mine on the Thurs night to save a really early start & possibly Jamie as well if he decides on coming.

Nope, if it breaks it's insured for fire, theft etc; I'll take off the bits I want to keep at the roadside and burn the fecker
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I'm definitely up for this! I believe a certain Grainy dictator has VERY KINDLY covered my chalet payment while I'm sorting myself out with a new job, so count me in :) :) :) :)
