Now that has got my interest, my family are in murcia which looks to be probably a nice days riding from catalunya.
Op storm espana sounds like a good idea to me :D
iirc Murcia is a good 5/6hrs away, would make a real nice days ride....
the average temps in oct are in the low 20's, which is perfect for riding, but as you get nearer winter there is a greater chance of rain. i'll keep an eye on this oct to see if it'll be ok, but i'd say the very beginning of oct is where we wanna be....
Sounds like a plan. Its something I've wanted to do for a while but being the only biker in the family its been a bit of a non starter so far! :(
Sounds like thunder, goes like lightning!!

same as me really mate, being the only biker in the family, well now I class the forum as my biking family, with cantankerous uncles....(mac)
forgetful granddads...(kev)
naughty little nephew oiks.....(virt)
the list is endless....
it's looking good for OPSpain Oct 2016
I just need to sort out the amount of people that my family business can accommodate, the other issue is being that it's so far into the future, it's hard for people to make the commitment.
taking into account it's a 2 day journey in each direction just to get here, I would highly recommend the Portsmouth to bilbao ferry, otherwise your looking at 1000miles from Calais, and a very boring body breaking 1000 miles at that.
so the best part of 4 days in travelling, then between 5 to 7 days based at mine. so the trip will be between 9 to 11 days.
once again not everyone can get that amount of time away from their families.
in the next month or so i'll be able to make some firm plans and we'll go from there.
and jeff your more than welcome on the trip....
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

Have we got dates for Wales 2016 yet?

Wife wants to book up the 2016 calendar and see if I've left a gap for the Fambly hols week in between Forum piss- oops, sorry- meet-ups.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Given that's where I'm from (and may be moving back to) this definitely interests me!
