That's 41.5 mpg if my maths is right, so they aren't too crap on fuel, a very rough work out of mine I think I had just under 30mpg, not bad for most of the time above 8500rpm

correct,... you are a different kind of mental [special?].......... and pete is just one click away from Menthol

but in my defence I think the twist grip was catching on the bar ends and that was why it wasn't closing the throttle

what about :

number of pints drunk - about 15 for me [forgot we were there 3 nights!]

number of Fags rolled / stolen / butt ends picked up - too many

number of items for breakfast - average of 4

number of punctures - 1 but it still stayed up

number of kills switch backfires - was I the only child?

number of Wheelies - lots

number of old BMW' K100's that showed us how to overtake - he was flying

number of cars that pull to the side to let bikes through [even if they end up on the grass at 50mph!] - scary as I think they will hit a pothole and fly back onto the road as I get beside them

number of number of people who cant listen to instructions - mostly Marty

number of times Malc complained that he got his storm wet - lots

number of junctions on the A30 before we turn off - clue, its more than 1

number of dull moments - only when the football was on

smiles per hour - at least 50 , but smiles per gallon was about 100

thanks again

I can get around 120 miles out of the firestorm before the light comes on doing motorway cruising, therefore around 40mpg.

But mine is stock.
