2nd Op Devon-Storm 2016 8/9/10/11th July

Post by popkat »

This is now booked for 8/9/10/11th July 2016. Friday to Monday edit 29/9/2015

Just though I'd get this up early, looking at July again, would like thoughts as to best weekend for this. I though maybe bring it forward a week to 8th/9th/10th/11th July ?
Also would appreciate comments re this years OP, Were you happy with how it went ? any improvements you'd like ? were you happy with the rides and how they were organised, honest comments please and we'll go with what makes most happy.

Are we happy to try and book up the same place ?

2016 will see us doing some new roads and routes, heading South in Devon instead of North and venturing down into Cornwall.

where we're staying
http://www.Richard.co.uk/

Chalet price is £50 per person which covers the whole weekend, PM me for payment details

Cheers
Malc.

I was happy with the chalets and the locations, but can we stipulate a strict dress code next year, keep clothing on at all time....Why.... that person knows why :)

All depends what the weather is like a week before. If its going to rain then no

Things to do different? Not that I can think of apart from bringing the right bike to have fun on

Book me in Malc.

Chalets were fine.

+1 on the dress code.

Routes were fine with only the ride up to GCHQ being a little sketchy...

The 'Storm Extreme Golf Championship' has to be included at some point, have to have a chance at winning me quid back...

Date wise I'm open for whenever...Earlier could be better may be a little less holiday traffic...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

good point about the traffic.......... can you move the location up to SW Scotland where all the Tourist cars stay on the A75 with the HGVs and all the other roads are left for the bikers :D

not trying to steal any of your punters..... just saying

No one said, i thought you'd all done alot of riding and would have wanted a more relaxed day. I'll make the sunday ride longer

We could go to lands end on the Saturday which is longer than we did on the Sat last time, then i'll make 2 routes for the Sunday, a reasonable length one and a shorter one then we can decide which one take when we're there..

I will talk to the holiday site in the next month or so and see what the prices will be.
Deal will be like last year with a cut off date to fill chalets again, hopefully we can get an extension into march.
Start putting the pennies aside and the cost will hardly notice
