Track days 2015.....

Post by Ckennedy »

Now me and Lloyd have the bug and both bikes are being converted to temp track bikes we are looking at track days next year. Now at the moment we are looking at doing 1 per month but some butter has decided he wants to start around Feb when the weather will be shocking

So it looks like we should be pretty OK in all weathers by the end of next year  if we haven't killed ourselves first.

So with us thinking one a month who wants to join us? If we can find out who is likely to be where at one time we could try to tie in and meet you all around the UK next year and have a blast around some rather nice tracks! We will be investing in a trailer and other track day essentials to make it comfier and more fun while we do it.

So who's up for it? Be nice to have a convoy of trailers with bikes on

I reckon you'd manage that Stuart. Just need to get your feet right so you don't drag your toes round the bends and open the throttle a little more

For any dry days were going in the inters group and any wet I think it will be novice. But have to wait and see as over the next 2-3 months I shall be spending around 700quid on bits and Bob's to get mine right  never know, might even be in the inters for the wet :s

I'll be doing a load of days again. I did 3 last year, and 3 this year, though had planned to do a lot more....having a baby kind of got in the way though :D

I plan for at least 6 next year though, starting probably around May after my wedding.

The list of tracks will be (these are in order of best to worst) Oulton Park, Cadwell, Donington, Mallory and then maybe try Silverstone or Rockingham.

If you two have the bug now, after Mallory, just wait till you get onto Cadwell or Oulton. Just epic.

cadwell, mallory i will want to do again.

Donington, silverstone snetterton rockingham are relatively local too.

Winter objective is to sort my feet out, i.e. toes on pegs. Need to make my boots last longer. Will also try to get the bike running sweet with jet kit and standard cans.

I am going keep the bike in standard cosmetic trim as the indicators, bar ends, and cans seem to do a reasonable protection job.

An i still have a st of wheels with racetec tyres on that need a dry warm day
