Grey FireBlade, rider with white helmet and high vis vest.

He stopped me for a chat about how good Hornets are as he owned one  :wtf:

And cause I was doing 70 on an otherwise empty 60 road :P

It's a good job your restricted. :eek2 I noticed an increase in marked Motorcycle please out and about along the embankment yesterday in London. The nice weather will bring them all out. One of them was parked up on the pavement, helmet off, jacket open and looked like he was on lunch break.

It's a straight road and was basically empty ;P even with the 97 horses within an unrestricted hornet I wouldn't have gone faster :)

Yeah, I've already seen 5 marked bikes go past on my lunch breaks, doubt it was 5 different ones but meh

Or he was burning from British heat and never going faster than 15mph in London

We have a Police biker near by who is always out with his speed gun but drops it for bikes and gets loads of cars lol. Gotta be real careful when riding out in East Yorkshire though cos there loads of camera bikes, I just ride faster on evenings , never seen one after 4pm ish. Fast riding on a weekend in summer is just licence suicide

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I think I might be inline for speeding fine, basically my view of the left hand side of the road was obscured by a fiesta fusion doing 40 in a 40 and the camera van was in this view on the l/h side and I looked up the r/h side of the ford and overtook and just as I came passed his a frame did I see the van bugger!! 55 in a 40 Lots of variables as to whether I get a ticket or not but just be aware any body in the Coventry area they are out in force. I have just read this Back to myself and it makes it seem like I was riding like a tw@ I can assure you it was all done safely on a road that has no junctions I just could not see the van as it was behind the ford

I got caught by a van on the A5 a month ago. Dual carriageway, overtook a lorry - and there was the van. 82mph. I've been offered (and accepted) the speed awareness. Totally my fault as A: I was speeding and B: It was just plain bad obs. If I'd done a 1000 yard look, I'd have seen it. Ho hum. £80 lesson learnt.
