So outa the guys who saw the hidden van on our little excursion, anyone reckon this was it?

Thought it was green? or maybe just a trick of the light?

Maybe there's more than one, probably is.

Hasn't one force also got an ice cream van one?

Echo what Mike says, entrapment, not prevention

   sneaky feckers! nothing to do with prevention! if it was they'd be using marked vans with plenty of warning signs, read a couple of months back in the paper they even had one set up in a wheelie bin with a hole cut out for the lens!!

Not anymore im affraid, they moved the goalposts a couple of years ago, with a change of the law.

Here in hull, they have just changed it again, saying if you are under 39mph in a 30 for instance its a speed seminar, 39 and over is 3 points and fine.

They realised they get more revenue from the seminars to keep in their back pockets. It was in the paper 2 or 3 days ago 8O

still say they are fiddler for using covert cameras.
there was a petrol station on park road in haydock that had a hidden speed camera built into the overhead canopy, facing up park road....
a fiew friends wondered why they had been done for speeding when there was no yellow gatso - then it was spotted in the st.helens reporter.

the garage got burned down. now that's justice.

they get away with this by having those black & white camera signs - they can film you from anywhere if they want.
if you get nicked by a permanent yellow gatso it's your own fault imo as they stand out like sore Richard, but these sneaky cams, and the cops who leap out from behind bus stops etc want banning.
how can they justify that as a safety camera - it causes drivers to slam on at the last moment and potentially could cause an accident.
i wish it would tbh then they would have to stop this practice. :Ball Kick:
