Pictures - is there another way

Post by Beleif »

Hi,

Is there another way to put pictures up? Would it be possible to just upload them direct from PC to the site?

I can't be bothered logging in to flickr or any of those sites. They want all your details to register and then the effing password has to have capitals, lowercase, number etc. Then I don't go near that site for a few weeks and how am I going to remember a password that I made up in frustration?

I really don't care if a hacker manages to hack into my flickr account and steal a picture of my motorbike or dog.

Lol rant over

 You still not got there yet then.

No you most defiantly not upload direct from your computer as the forum does not have the resources to hold 1000's of pics. That's why an image host is required and then you link to your image in your post which points to where it's being hosted.

Try Photobucket, flicr will give you grief. Oh and I wouldn't be so flippant about computer security if I was you. Yes they may only be pictures to you as they are on the surface, but they are not to a hacker with nefarious intentions. Those pictures could then be used to dig deeper into getting further info on your identity or used for planting a virus or worse.

Ah, OK, I get the picture.

The password stuff might be as they ease us into accepting fingerprint log in devices.

Then all you need is a relative or friend to leave their digits to you.
