Terrapins.
When I was a kid you couldn't move for terrapins; they're probably an endangered species now.

Sell your box of trouble and buy a terrapin.

Just my opinion.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Upgrading isn't a necessity unless you store personal information, such as credit card details, on your computer. You can still use malwarebytes anti-malware to be rid of viruses that target any vulnerabilities within the XP operating system.

If you do want to upgrade though, why not go to Ubuntu or any other Linux distribution? They're all free and you just download them off the internet and burn them onto a disc.

It's Microsoft one of the most hated companies in the world. They have always been open to attack. Just check your router logs. I'd stick with the Terrapins.

Here you go http://www.firewoodandlogsdirect.com/ but if they can't help then throw that thing that's says Microsoft on the fire. That will give you a nice warm fuzzy feeling for years to come. It will also make the Terrapins happy as they smoke Microsoft grass on sandy skies on cotton wool clouds to ski on.

Well, it was that before they stopped support, so I really don't understand the difference... But I'm probably daft... I mean, really... What difference will that make? It's full of security holes big enough to drive a lorry though, and it was the same yesterday... So what changed, besides a few press releases from Microsoft ?!

The same applies to any M$ products really... There are holes big enough that it's laughable... Linux is better, but not fool proof in any way, but since it's free, you more or less get your moneys worth, vs M$ takes your money and laughs all the way to the bank...

this is the trouble with big business. I guess we forget what they are trying to do. basically they want max profits.
they need to provide the goods and services they do but really all they want is your dosh.

I just been dealing with a solicitor over some stuff and you get the impression they are helping you but the more letters at 75 quid a pop they can write you the happier they are... :?

Hi M8tey... look at one of the very first posts I undertook and posted which at that time stirred up
a hornets nest with a few here... who loiter/ lurk around getting opinions out ... but basically
if want to install Linux... I explain it in the last page .. give it a go ... there's nothing
difficult there ..

All new Pcs laptops are geared now to Windows 8, a lot of people hate W8 , Windows 7 is more user friendly
good luck
