Office 2007 and Windows 7 64 Bit

Post by cliveyandrews »

Anyone know of any issues - I'm getting registry problems on a fresh Win 7 64 bit install - Office 2007 was the first program added, nothing else - why should I get issues?

Any thoughts anyone (I'm reasonably computer savvy)

Cause Microsoft are sh1t?

No idea, I use OpenOffice instead. If it keeps messing up, try that. Open Source software is always good

I put Kingsoft Free on most machines. I need Outlook for work - and to sync my address book, as well as an archive of over 2,500 emails. If I could find a mail reader that let me import my old .pst files I'd change!

 What specifically is the error you're getting?

It's a registry error - bizarre as its the first program on a clean OS install. I've just uninstalled it all longhand, and made sure registry is clean. A reinstall has it working, but it spat the dummy at my pst file. I'm getting there (sloooowly)
