Re: Vinyl Wrap

I'm nowhere near ready to try either paint or vinyl yet, so plenty of time for research and a bit of practise. You can't say that you ain't ready to try it mate, I had never done vinyl before but thought, after research (you tube is brill) gave it a go, you don't know till you give it a go. Just an...

Bike looks lonely in the garage with no tools, workbench etc. Not even a naughty calender on the wall.

Re: Vinyl Wrap

Very interesting. I've got a whole load of respraying to do to cover welded plastics: both sides and seat and the tank is down to the metal from removing a tank pad. So basically the whole bike. Easier that painting? More or less expensive than paint? Cost if DIY I think may be slightly cheaper, al...

Re: Vinyl Wrap

Thanks for the cyber advice Carl on cleaning my garage etc and yeah, I must admit I am not sure about the black on the fairing either. Will see if it works once I have wrapped over the other bits. Thanks for the positive comments too guys  , I am sure that by the time I come to the last bit...

Vinyl Wrap

I have been messing around with spray on the top part of my fairing, needed after welding. But couldn't bring myself to spray the other bits, so thought I would play with vinyl wrap http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q604/johnnygrinner/PICT0046_zpseb168a54.jpg http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q6...

Fender Extender

Do they actually help to protect the engine block or are they a gimmick?
It's only £20 to get one, is it worth it?
Anyone fitted one for it's purpose or did you fit it just 'because'? :confused

Re: colour options? sample?

Poxy imageshack. I can't see your images. I have to go into quote and get the url direct if I want to see them. Pain in the butt and I can't be bothered right now. I give up these days when they are not embedded on the page properly. I'd prefer a direct link than having to go into quote. Oh and it'...

Re: colour options? sample?

"Maybe matt black down the middle of the front fender/tank and rear cowl? Mmmmmmmmm? Mulling it over?" After speaking to a friend of mine, pro sprayer who is actually going to do the end job, despite the fact that it's like a black board (thanks Lloydie) he has kinda talked out of it so we...
