Re: these look bloody good

Cheers. Probably more came in as grey imports than official ones but would guess at only about 200 in total, of the 75 there were 50 Jap spec and 25 aussie spec (bit more powerful). they missed the boat back in 86 and Heron suzuki said they'd take them, hence very few numbers, I have 3 at the moment...

Re: Getting forks apart

Use a heat gun on the fork around the seal area. if you just keep tugging on them you risk damaging or pulling the bottom bush through the seal, it'll come apart but then you'll need to have a new bush made, you might get a new part but often the bottom bushes are not available.

Re: Fork Spring advice

I know what i meant  sorry for confusing post should have been pull the front up or push the forks through. What you should have done was measure the height of the front of the bike before changing the springs, then with the new springs fitted set the front ride height the same by either slidin...

Re: Fork Spring advice

it could cause instability, mild wobles or tank slappers. if you get anything like that even mild that you didn't get before then either pull the forks up until it doesn't do it or get a damper.

Re: new tyres :)

I've fitted a few pairs of PR3's to customers bikes and although they say they're good they also say PR2's seem just as good and some are going back to them as they're cheaper.

Re: Brook Suspension

heard of them but not used them, they advertise on ebay sometimes saying they can rebuild any std shock, a mate got a quote for CB1300 shocks and was £200 so he got a 2nd hand pair instead.

YOUR NOT USING FULLY SYNTHETIC......COMP4 IS SEMI SYNTHETIC

Think what you like mate but feel free to go ahead and contact fuchs silkoline direct if you like, they'll tell you it's semi. I sell the stuff.
