I should have 2coils spare as I just ordered 4 for £40, but you will need to get your own loom as I have got the offer of the wiring from muppet ( who spotted that you can get the coils as single items from some breakers) So £20 for the 2 coils with a couple of quid to cover postage if any one is ...

I am looking into doing this over the winter, and as you end up with 4 coils from the cbr600, I imagine that you can do 2 FireStorms from the parts you get. Lloydie, is it possible to split the loom to convert 2 bikes? If it is, I will put two coils and the required loom up for sale on here after I ...

If you're not sure what's oil is in your bike or when it was last changed then best do a complete oil change to semi-synth' and replace the filter. That way you'll know where you're at from now on. Same for sparkplugs, airfilter, coolant, brake & clutch fluids and all other service items +1 on ...

On these bike there is always a bit of a clonk when you go into gear, and also going from 1st to 2nd. Getting good tension set up, and eliminating Cush slop will help, but will never eliminate.

Only effects the reading if you do the test throttle closed....which is not the correct way, should be wide open throttle. Your reading should be correct
