Re: Oh Bugger...

I'm away to the Aragon MotoGP in 2 weeks time, looks like I'll just need to cheer on Dovi instead!

...or do we think he could be back up and on the bike in a fortnight?

Re: The time has come..

I did wonder if you would have had the time to cover some more miles going by your original post. The reason I asked about the wind protection, I saw a Speed triple local to me and I did think about changing bikes, well only for a very short time  but went with the Renthal flat bar handlebar ...

Re: The time has come..

So what's your opinion on the new bike Matt now you've had chance to get some miles in, well hopefully you have :?: What's the wind protection like compared to the Storm :?: Chris. Only done the 200ish miles on it so far, so still not fully gelled with it.. Wind protection is non-existent compared ...

Re: The time has come..

Couple hundred miles in, it's a decent bike... very quick, comfortable and decent on fuel... the biggest difference over the storm though (well, mine anyway!) are the brakes - very very very capable. :eek2 Decided not to be so hasty in selling the storm, it's been pushed to the quiet side of the gar...

Re: The time has come..

Unfortunately I'll be up north this weekend! One of the family commitments that I mentioned...

Have a great time this weekend - watch out for some of the potholes around the Galloway Forest, they've grown a bit in the past year..

The time has come..

Time for the storm to go! :( Been a hard decision, but it's had a good 7 year run. Work/family commitments recently have resulted in ever decreasing amounts of time available to get out for a ride, so it's hardly turned a wheel this year. Having test ridden a few shinier bikes this year, I've decide...

Re: Happy birthday mattster

Cheers folks! Another year older... another year with the storm...6 and a half now in total. Still no plans to move it on yet! 2017 storm plans: - buy new head bearings - fit new head bearings - fit the purple touring screen I bought from Mac earlier this year to see what a difference it makes - wra...

Haha, that sounds like a challenge!

I'll pop a post up next time I'm heading up that way

You should checkout the rideout section - there's a group of guys who'll be riding around the Galloway forest park/Ayrshire for a weekend at some point over the next few months....
