Some shocks are designed to run the remote on the right side of the bike. The reason for this is that if you throw the chain, you will not damage the remote. It's a racing thing to limit damage. I have an Ohlins shock fitted to my bike. The canister is fitted to subframe L/H side and the remote is fitted to the subframe R/H side. Hi, That is right but when I turn the shock around the canister will only fit on the right side with the remote adjuster on the same side, which looks to much on ...

Hi, tried that and the remote canisters wouldn't go into the right place on the frame, but I think that is going to be the best way and get the canister and the remote swopped round, Thanks buddypopkat wrote:Turn it round the other way so the bolt faces the opposite direction.

Thanks fellas, It's the ones with the 2 remotes, I am trying to fit this WP one which I an assured it did come from a unmodified Firestorm but when I fit it on mine it seems to catch on the battery tray, Its the top bolt which holds the remote canister to the shock http://i1375.photobucket.com/album...
