Side stand loose

Just about to set off for a few days in Wales and noticed one of the side stand bolts is loose and wont do up. Should there be a nut behind it or has the thread gone do we think? Thanks all.

Thats a real shame, the championship wont be the same without him in it...I wonder when he will hang up his riding boots? he seems to be doing as much commentating on WSB as he does riding at the moment, maybe that will be his next move, not that im complaining or doubting his commitment, his insigh...

This topic comes up all the time in the classic bike circles, ive had to replace 2 of the 4 bikes fuel taps on the older bikes but as they are between 30 and 50 years old, ive put that down to wear and tear, my LC started pissing about a few years back but a strip/refurb , new needles and ultrasonic...

Track day today at Croft. I've had this itch for some time and today I gave it a good scratch. Haven't been on a track for about 25 years since I threw my jellymould CBR600 away at Brands Hatch. Took a run up to Donngton on the storm yesterday with some nice folk from the VJMC,something for everyone, racing was awesome , watching GPX750s/GSXR750s going around with old Lav's was a pleasure to the eyes and ears...The paddock area was even better for me thou. MOT passed, inspector was telling me come June, as part of some changes to the test, the bike will revved half way to its rev range and if deemed too noisy, is an instant fail, also said, spot checks will be carried by DVSA to ensure testers are being rigorous on this and the new changes... excuse ...
