Just don't stop checking your mirrors for bikes!
Seriously, let us know how soon you don't spot a bike coming up on you fast- it's amazing how difficult we can be to spot from a car, even with high beam on etc.

WORDS THAT SHOULD EXIST
Every so often I come out with words that should exist but aren't in the dictionary yet.
Words like:
Groanads (tank/bollock interface)
Bed-raggled (alternative to "bedraggled", but much more accurate.
Any more you can think of?

You'll also need to undo the handlebars and rest them on rags on the bodywork, unbolt the brake calipers from the legs, leaving them hanging. Remove wheel. If you then undo the fixing on the lower fork triple which holds the brake line the you can get away without taking the brake lines out. Just ma...

2 into 2 or 2 into 1
Dropped my Storm  fitted with a pair of Carbon Can Co straight-throughs on, and one can is sadly no longer with us. I had the choice of fitting the standard cans back on, but it's nowhere near MOT time, so just blanked off the R/H pipe and left the remaining L/H side carbon can on. Lost a litt...
BT021's
Fitted a 21 rear at the Bulldog this year, and it's still on. Ride all year, and use it for work, so although i haven't logged the mileage it's lasting longer that the 020's I usually run. But is it me, or is the middle bit damned hard an slippy? The roads have been awful since the leaves started dr...

Flush mount fronts, and mirrors with LED indicators in as well. rear, replaced tail light with Powerbronze combi tail light/indicators, and also fited dinky winkers from them as well. So two LED sets front, and two LED sets rear... Still flashed too bloody fast, until I fitted a resistor. Stil, they...
I fitted a rear light with built-in indicators, and also a pair of dinky winkers for the rear. Front end, I fitted a pair of flush mount ovals which go over the holes in the fairing that the original indicators poke through, job done. Then I also fitted a pair on mirrors with indicators in as well. ...

Good tip about choke not staying in position, thanks. I find that if I pull choke fully out, then release it as I start cranking and leave throttle shut it starts even when really cold. If I open the throttle at all while cranking it won't start for around half a minute, them backfires like you woul...

88%. I must be even more simple.Mad Ax wrote:90% - agree that some of the questions are a little bit vague, some of them I just plain and simple got wrong ;)
Still, it also means that if the pass rate is only 80%, 1 in 5 of all the broken vehicles coming out of their repair shops are still broken....

I bought the yellow one. Or, if you happen to be a workmate of mine, the flying custard colour. Bananas come up too. I don't care- if I get trollied by a car, I can hold up bits of shattered bright yellow plastic and ask the beak why he couldn't bloody see me? And it doesn't show bees that splatter ...
