The point in the sighting laps is to show you the way round for first timers and get everything up to heat. They build the speed up slowly then leave you to fight for yourself.

The instructors wait in the holding area and you just have to ask them show you the way!!

The No Limits guys always put cones out for you to follow and give you 3 sighting laps first. Grab an instructor if you feel the need.

The last track evening I did at cadwell my first ever trackday!! Just be aware that inters and novice are usually mixed in the slower group so you do get some quick riders in there.
