Re: MOTOBATT Battery
Sounds like your regulator rectifier unit is knackered and is not limiting the charging voltage to 14.4V. That will have "cooked" your battery. You may get a static high voltage reading off of it representative of the overcharge voltage but the "cooking" will have damaged its abi...

Re: HONDA ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR 10 NEW ELECTRIC BIKES BY 2025
They don't have cam chain tensioners or Regulator/Rectifier units so there is two plus points in their favour already.

Re: Front sprocket 17T - any experience with it?
In my experience, if the front brake pads get more than 50% and you are running standard Honda front brake disks then they can warp leading to vibration through the bars at certain speeds.

Re: LED Versus H4 headlamp bulb.
The battery is only on the bike to allow it to be started. Once the engine is running all the power is coming from the stator coils through the regulator rectifier unit so there is no issue with the battery going for LED bulbs. As long as you are not going over the standard 50/65W of the standard ha...

Re: LED Versus H4 headlamp bulb.
I've been using H4 LED bulbs on my V-Strom 650 for a couple of years and found them a big improvement over standard halogen bulbs. Two MOT's passed with no issues.

Re: Vario adjustable clip on kits
I installed ABM multiClip Tour adjustable bars on my last Aprilia Falco. Quality kit but quite expensive compared to others onthe market. https://i.postimg.cc/5Qc4N49M/IMG-20150615-200555.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/wRkC8g72/IMG-20150616-175614.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/14Z0jpPJ/IMG-20150615-215303.jpg ...

Re: hi everyone
Welcome.
The VTR will be a lot more relaxed a ride compared to your previous Aprilias (I've had two Falco's in the past). The one thing you wont have to worry about with the VTR is the Ethanol content in moderl fuel swelling the plastic tank unlike the Aprilias.

I have updated the Tapatalk plug-in for the forum to the latest Beta version.
I don't personally use Tapatalk so can someone confirm whether or not you can connect to the forum again using the app?
Thanks,
Al.
