Re: Abba Stand

Thanks guys, making up a stand based on the Abba one. Just welds an old 27mm socket onto some 12mm bar and got a piece of hardened 12 mm for the other side. Just got to weld up the frame and were done. Will try and put up some picks. Making the stand is easy, putting up picks is hard . Cheers Dave.

Abba Stand

Has anybody got an Abba stand that they could take a few measurements for me. I need the length from the base of the stand to the centre of the pin that locates in the swing arm pivot (looks between 450mm and 500mm to me ). Also length of pins , look about 100mm when connected to bike . Thanks Dave.

Re: best place to buy springs

I'd like to try and do them myself, as I do enjoy working on the bike , and with a full workshop at my di...

Kevin and Julie

Kevin was on his way home from work. He had a beautiful blonde wife and best of all , a brand new Golf Gti waiting for him at home. The car had only been delivered the day before, and as he approached his house he could see the metallic black paintwork gleaming in the evening sun. He stood admiring ...

Re: KILL BILL

It reminds me of the joke about the man who built a wooden motorbike. Wooden frame , wooden wheels wooden engine , wooden go.

D.I.Y. shop joke

A Woman gets a job in her local D.I.Y. shop. If you have any problems I'll be out the back , says the owner of the shop. A few minutes later a man walks in and asks to buy a file. Which one would you like asks the woman, proudly showing the man the display board behind her. I'd like one of those big...

Re: 20th anniversary meet 15th July Birmingham Motorcycle Museum

Great day, apart from motorway ride up. Many thanks to Pete L for breaking me in gently as a Firestorm meet up virgin. Nice to be able to put some faces to the names, or not in some cases. Hope to see some of you again at the Wales meet, which is my back yard.Once again Great Day.

Dave.

Haven't got a clue with computers, so when replying to somebody in a post how do you copy their post onto your reply. Have tried copy and paste but you don't get the highlighted box etc.
