Re: Getting bike running after 2 years?

Deff change break fluids... It's worth changing oil & fillter. Some say take the cam covers off & lube the cams with fresh oil...Save spinning them up dry... Coolant should be OK but if it hasn't been changed since the bike was new then change it anyway. If the bike has been standing on con...

Getting bike running after 2 years?

Hey everyone I hope you're all well. Hoping most of you guys I knew are still around on here, and looking forward to meeting new people when the meets get going again. I haven't had much chance to read through posts to see what's been going on, though I did see the posts from the Storm Scotland trip...

Re: Scotland storm 18 --- photos and aftermath

Long time no see chaps, what's been happening? I haven't ridden the bike on road or track since Aug 17 and the op storm Scotland, just haven't had time with the kids and work. Finally got round to tidying the garage yesterday, got me thinking I should re-insure, tax and MOT the bike again. Sadly it ...

Re: OP STORM SW Scotland Mk6, Aug 10th to 13th 2018

Hope you guys all keeping well I haven't been on much at all in recent months, been too busy with work and having a second kid now. I am sorely tempted to sack off biking for the year, including any track days, as I don't have time. This trip now clashes with a wedding I'm invited to, and the bike h...

Reckon I'll likely come.... but can't guarantee it at the moment.

We'll be organising a holiday at some point and we always go around this time. It's the last year before Sophia starts school so got to make the most of cheap holidays!!

Adyf

Anyone heard anything from him? I've text him but no reply a few times now.
He hasn't posted in a year now.
I think he got a new woman, maybe she put his c0ck in one of those cage with a key things and banned him from riding?

Had a little spill

It was my own fault. I'd been to get a drink in the local bar. I was going a little too fast. Turned a corner and there was someone there in my way. I couldn't avoid them. It was a little wet on the ground. I tried to stop but couldn't. Too slippery. The damage wasn't that bad. My clothes came off w...

Re: Suspension question on rebound

Cheers guys Yeah it's about a GSXR rear shock. By bobble, I meant the little lump of rubber that builds up on the leading or trailing edge of the tread marks. See below: Mine was definitely too hard on the rebound (slow) as I could push it down then it took a while to return. My brothers looked fine...

Suspension question on rebound

Been reading this: https://lifeatlean.com/motorcycle-tyre-wear-guide/ Specifically the bit about rebound being too fast or slow and causing the bobble on leading or trailing edge of the tread mark. My tyre has a big bobble of rubber on the front edge of the horizontal tread lines, apparently meaning...
