Re: straight bars-trick bitz risers
well that was weird. i connected my new clutch line up and tried bleeding it. gave up in a strop and asked my mate to do it, no problem. i havent drilled any locating holes in the bars yet, so tightened everything as much as i dared then gaffer taped everything in place. i set off down the road for...

Re: Flush fit front indicators
I think those ones just drop into the hole rather than sitting flush with the fairing surface. Ask for dimensions. At a rough guess from a Chinese site (probably where they come from anyway) they are around 50mm×35mm. I also found these which are slightly more but also a bit longer and look like th...

Re: Flush fit front indicators
Thanks for the replies. Mac, I was hoping for something as a direct fit so I didn't have to drill the fairings if that's at all possible. I've seen some on ebay but I'm not sure if they will fit and being LED they will probably require some form of resistor adding which I'm not sure about either. ht...

Re: Flush fit front indicators
Thanks, the led indicators in the thread look like the ones I've seen on ebay but there are some oval ones on one of the bikes in the pics that look like they would do the job.Wicky wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:42 pm

Re: the theory of evolution
I have previously struggled with weight on my wrists from the clip ons on gsxrs, ducs etc. I then had a Fazer with renthals that made it amazingly comfortable and flickable but after an hour or so in the saddle my ass was starting to go numb. I'm pretty new to vtr's but the position really seems to ...

Flush fit front indicators
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has replaced the rather large front indicators with something that will sit pretty flush with the fairing? I've seen a few led style on eBay but I'd rather have something that is more of a direct replacement using standard bulbs. I'm willing to have a go at most thi...

Re: Engine ticking.
Thanks folks. I'll take it to work tomorrow and check it over when it's warm. I was hoping it would be something like exhaust blow but had started wondering if it was the cct as I haven't got the mcct to replace them yet.

Engine ticking.
Can anyone help either put my mind at ease or help advise what this noise is?
I seem to hear it more when the engine is warm but I can't seem to work out where it's coming from.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Fitted new brake pads and cleaned the pistons today. Rear has been practically none existant since I bought the bike so I fugured I might as well just do them all. I've given EBC HH pads a go as they seemed a decent price, I don't know what other reviews are like about them but they are like night ...

Re: New to the forum and the bike
Thanks, It's pretty loud and sounds great but maybe bordering on too loud if that's possible. I may have to invest in a couple of db killers for the early morning starts or I'll have some pi$$ed off neighbours after a while.

Re: New Carbon Silencers
They look really good. I've got stubby carbon harpoon cans on mine but those hexagonal cans look the business.
Can't really comment about longevity as I've not had the bike long but visually mine look like they've been on a while and are running fine.

Re: New owner looking for some parts, help?
Thanks for that. 75 euros plus p+p probably works out the same as sirch345's link earlier.
At least now I know I can get hold of one at a more reasonable price than the £200 I was finding on ebay I can add it to my list of things to do.
