For what it's worth...I sold my first item ever about a month ago. I used Hermes and it worked out well. I have since posted 5 or 6 items through Hermes and it's been very smooth. The added benefit is they can be left into a nearby shop if you can't wait in for the courier. In my limited experience...

If I have the key.... and the 'chip' on hiss is amongst the debri..... would it be possible to align and start?

Just trying to get sorted with minimum expense
B as t rd s gona cost me £150 to collect storm (damage unknown as yet) then whatever cost to get cbr running
So Im guessing 400+ at least.

Can I replace hiss for standard? New tech info
So it costs so much on my cbr to replace hiss after attempt theft, can I use key, barrel, cdi from a model 1 year earlier that dont have hiss as standard?
Same with a storm, can I take off my hiss stuff, sell it, then just use older model cdi etc?

Thanks guys.
The morons who tried to steal it smashed the centre of key entry with my tools ( ) smashed open the hiss unit (bits all over the floor) and cut and exposed 3 wires. Tbh Ive been so busy Ive not looked properly.

My cbr has had an "attempt theft" and they have smashed the ignition barrel and hiss ignition surround and wiring.
What will i need to repair? Is the hiss ign unit coded to the ecu?
If like my Alfas the key, code box and ecu are coded together.

Thanks guys Update: Bike found in Ellesmere Port, only visable damage according to police was an idicator! We'll see. Its in storage untill forensics done. Gona cost me £150 to get it back :-( Also positive I.D on thieves, 3 males in Orange mid size hatchback ........ focus RS?? Police due here agai...
