Re: New UK Firestorm owner and some questions, please!
With stock bars my Storm is probably about the same level of comfort as my GSXR1000**. I've fitted late model (F2) Storm handlebars and it's a really big difference, much more relaxed riding position, the bars are same height at the forks but different angle so the are higher at the ends, the small...

Re: New UK Firestorm owner and some questions, please!
I did look at the flat bar route for my GSXR1000 as I loved it but came to the conclusion with cost of yoke, bar , new lines/hoses and cutting the fairing and/or screen, it was more cost effective to sell it and buy something better suited to the job in the first place. Ive done some digging at it s...

My other bikes
Some pics of my pride and joys, may of may not be of interest, any current 2 stroke owners on the fourm? I bet, like me, a few of us may have or have had these in the past...and smashed./broke /seized them shortly after! My number one favourite bike, my 1981 350LC. Purchased in 2012 , as a runner wi...

Re: New UK Firestorm owner and some questions, please!
Those risers will work ok...had a set meself & didn't think they made much of a difference. The Bars on the later bikes are one of the changes & they do make a difference...I have 4 Storms as I'm greedy 3xFs & one F2 the F2 is deff more wrist freindly on a long run... As for the VFR bar...

Re: New UK Firestorm owner and some questions, please!
Thanks for all the info gents, bit of a bummer about the 16L tank, even my 2 strokes are bigger capacity, the clocks indicate mine is an older model as well then? Why couldnt Honda make a decent reg/rec system on their bikes of this era?! I guess I can date it 100% by the frame number. Im also on t...

New UK Firestorm owner and some questions, please!
Evening one and all, Recently purchased a nice lowish mileage 2002 Firestorm to replace my GSXR1000, picking it up in a couple of weeks, the GSXR was a lovely bike but I wanted something semi sporty as my neck is struggling with the low bar position now and with a 2k budget, the Firestorm seemed the...
