The camshaft nearest the exhaust header on the front cylinder will use the FE mark. The camshaft nearest the carb on the front cylinder will use the FI mark,

I would have thought the same as Pete that more than likely a CCT problem :!: But after listening to your video I'm not so sure, but after saying that, recordings can sound different to the original sound :!:

ahhaaaa CHEERS Chris !!!! thats wopt i had except the fi marks as facing the wrong way :o( soo 180 out !!! its now worse lol cos while struggling like an idiot trying to get the cam chain over the sprocket ive some how managed to muck it all up !!! sooo if i ever get home early enough ,, i'll sort ...

Update: the plod found the bike in a local housing estate in pretty bad shape, stearing lock and ignition barrel are totalled and it looks like its been dropped a few times, as its an old bike it's probably a write off. i know what you mean sirch, people have always got to f*ck things up for everyo...

I presume you have both front and rear cam covers removed, and the spark plugs also removed as Barry says :?: If you have the rear cylinder timing marks lined up correctly, the RT mark level with alternator cover mark, and the RE and RI cam sprocket marks level with the top of cylinder head and faci...
