Re: juddering clutch

It's a very strange behaviour....and I'm a little bit disappointed that I cannot use low rpms with the V-Twin. .....I've to invent something, I cannot accept this problem, I've to solve it!  Don't lug it in high gear & low revs and expect it to pull cleanly - use the supplied...

Re: juddering clutch

Did you double check that all plates, judder spring and judder spring seat are in the correct order? I had this problem badly when I first got the bike, and found that they were in the wrong order, with a plate behind the judder spring & seat, which should be last at the back of the stack. It s...

Re: juddering clutch

I've spoke too early....the problem is still here! :(
At first sunny day the problem reoccurrs.....

Next step: as suggested by a Factory tecnitian I will try to replace clutch fluid and I'll recondition the clutch actuator.

I'll keep you informed soon!

Yes, I've bought them in kit on e-Bay

Re: juddering clutch

Maybe I've found the solution. :D :D Two months ago I installed a new cutch discs set with reinforced springs (+ 15%) from EBC. Oil is Castrol Power One racing 10W-40. Yesterday, after an intense raceway session I noticed no problem under stress. For a final answer I must wait for summer....when tem...

Re: Li-ion battery

I used one for several years in my Storm; it's now in my SP2. No problems at all. You can't use a normal battery charger or conditioner; but as they don't lose charge if not used for a while, it doesn't need it. Mine stands in the winter for a month or two at a time; still starts fine even in very ...

Li-ion battery

Hallo everybody

There's any problem installing a Li-Ion battery instead of genuine one? Meaning if someone who has already installed one has encoutred electronic or recharging problems.

Thank you very much.

Re: SP1 swingarm on the Storm

Thank you very much, you've solved a lot of doubts.

Just one more question:

The rear rim is the genuine one or the SP2 one?

Re: Front and rear pistons?

I wonder if the JE high compression pistons are off-set the same :?: Chris. I Think so. Consider that now, on modern engines (as for car as for motorcycle) manufacturers have two ways to reduce vibrations and friction: piston's pin offset or crankshaft offset (vs cylinder's axle). Most used is pin'...

Re: Front and rear pistons?

As I supposed: piston pin offset is different (near to 1mm)

Piston two

Re: Front and rear pistons?

Normally every Honda pistons have a pin offset, due to friction and vibrations reduction.....now I'm not sure for this in particular but I'll verify on pistons I have at home.

Other difference should be, as written before, on oil draining holes.

The piston pin's offset should be different.
