Yes ken in two minds my self :problem: on chain gaurd may just ride round with out one or is it law?you have to have one No you don't need one, if its loose it would fail the mot, take it off and you might get an advisory saying its not fitted. Don't make the same mistake as I did, I picked up the wrong oil, I got the winter grade instead of summer and it flings it all over the place, makes a right mess
