Re: thinking about doing a bit of off roading!
i know the area well and theres a few public footpaths that i'd probably get away with riding on. where i stay you might see a copper maybe once a year lol, but sappose all it takes is one dog walker to report me and they would set up a military operation to catch me lol. and i reckon the lack of la...

Re: how many of you home bois are commuting this winter?
As far as snow goes, Avoid. If not take it at walking pace with both legs out ready to stabilise from experience ive found by doing that the bike is more likely to go from under you, sideways :/ hate getting caught in car ruts - especially when you have fresh snow on top of ice  cant blo...

Re: thinking about doing a bit of off roading!
Having done a bit of off roading you'll be gearing the bike for off road as road gearing will be too high. Therefore you only require something light and punchy, I started with a KMX200 and it was more than enough. I lost the plot and bought a XR600 which was too much for green lanes, it wasn't hap...

Re: thinking about doing a bit of off roading!
A good xr will still hold its value well, and a cheap one will be trashed....the engines need oil changes. But any enduro or trail bike is a good place to start, there are loads of options from old bikes like DT or TS or xl 175 / 250. To newer things like the DR350 then up to date with the DRZ. the...

thinking about doing a bit of off roading!
after watching some off roading and where i live it would be perfect (lincolnshire). but i've never done it before so i literaly dont have a clue where to start. looking at the honda xr 400 and they look ideal, light, enough power for the commute if needs be and CHEAP! plus i can just keep the storm...

Re: Engine Damage noise.
i've had engines seize on two strokes but never a catastrophic failure with a four, when my engine oil runs down i get a louder rattle from the CCT chain (APE's fitted) top it back up and it goes away. yeh, same here had a couple 2 strokes fook up but never had anything (honda) blow. sappose like a...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I did see once ( on the clock ) 179mph, on a 2005 cbr1000rr. I have to say it was totally stable and planted. 174 on my SP1, same, stable. Fastest I've seen on Storm is about 160. All done on public roads. However, in what country, I'll not divulge. Take that porky !! all my bikes have been h...

Re: Internet Punks
i cba watching it all cos the guy is clearly a blert. riding round in a discourteous manner criticising others while letting go of the bars to give double finger, then almost hitting a pedestrian who is already halfway across the road... he needs to learn (preferably the hard way) that when youre o...
