if the tank has a dent in it and has been filled as some do from new . then paint it if not use the power coat but the gloss finish is not as good as lacquer if you have it painted do all the prep work your self and will bring the cost down buy 3/4 i had a quote to get my old cbr600 sprayed black fo...

You will need the sub loom also
They are lighter
Burn cleaner
And the revs pick up faster
But no dyno to prove it just seat of pants testing
