Re: Devon Storm 2022 June 17th - 20th Booked

How are you getting on with the Katana Malc? I see you managed to fit the shock any changes to the front? Pete.l Hi Pete I like it, a step back in tech from the MT10 but different character, very much the same as a 2019 GSX-s as you know. The k tech shock is a bit on the harsh side which surprised ...

Re: Devon Storm 2022 June 17th - 20th Booked

Just like to say I’m so happy we got this Devon storm done, originally planned for 2020 but due to covid it git postponed. Also had a blow to my health that year than meant I had no idea if I could be there as the host. Well it all panned out great in the end, it wasn’t the easiest Devon storm I’ve ...

Re: Electrical Problem - Bike Died on the Way to Work

It could well be a battery problem but ideally you need a multi meter (about £9 from Halfords) set it volts on the 20 scale then connect to positive and negative of the battery. You need to have a fully charged battery to start with. With full charge you should see 12.9 to about 13.2 volts if just o...

Re: Devon Storm 2022 June 17th - 20th Booked

Warning.. 40mph…

On the A361 the last 15 miles or so approaching Barnstaple the majority of the road is 40mph due to long term road widening. There are cameras so stick to the speed limit and notice when it changes (up and down) Also don’t forget the camera entering Westward Ho.

Wow we are to honoured with a short firework display on our arrival, I never realised we were all so special 🥳😂 …Actually there’s a wedding on at the pier house and it’s their firework display but I think we can claim it as ours.. Pier house is open as normal. We do have locally available bog roll, ...

This time next week, hopefully the weather is kind to us, just a little reminder to bring towels and a bog roll, I will try and sort out the other stuff no one thinks of, ie coffee, tea, sugar etc

Re: What would win

With the same rider ? Blade has about 10hp more and is lighter, standard suspension is better than the storm so if both bikes stock with same rider then Blade wins With modified suspension set up well on both bikes then I think it would be much closer, the more turns would help the Storm but could b...

Re: Time to give racing another go

🏍 do you think you’ll get big air over the mountain 😂. I raced a few times against a bemsee mz multiple champion last year, he was on an FZ600 and won almost everything in class, a very fast rider. They use a lot of TZ parts I believe and are a well sorted class been going for well over 20 years. Go...

Re: Suspected failing regulator/rectifier - fluctuating speedo

I don’t think the readings are bad but Check the block connector for corrosion, that’s all ok get the soldering iron out splice into the earth wire that goes into the block connector and piggy back a wire to take the earth direct to the battery. This will eliminate any earthing issues. Remember lith...

Re: Devon Storm 2022 June 17th - 20th Booked

It’s not even the fuel range, the bloody ktm is good at everything and it makes you smile when you ride it. It’s comfortable getting places and still mental to ride when you want to go fast, It just not as good at wheelies though [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I doubt I could do a whe...
