Re: Devon Storm 2022 June 17th - 20th Booked

I am still debating if it’s a ktm Day or a storm. What are you riding Malc? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I’m not sure and it depends on how I feel, I would like to ride the Storm as not used it for so long but think I might not be able to go far on it, other option is the Katana or if crap we...

Not the most nimble bike for the Devon lanes, it’ll be ok but what’s up with the tango bike ?

Re: Track days

No limits or focused seem the best, they do Spain deals. Classic bike track days are friendly but don’t get the chance to go as fast as you’d like if you are a good fast rider. Tracks, Donington or Mallory for fairly easy to learn.. Brands Hatch or Cadwell for character but more difficult. The Welsh...

Re: Rumours, or is it???

I read but don’t know if it’s true that Suzuki could be facing millions (or more) in fines due to emissions lies, like VW, they are saying it’s on a psa engine they use so not their fault 🤔

Re: Oil filters

Halfords sell Castrol motorcycle oil Semi Synth 10/40 in 4 litre cans which is enough for a firestorm, £34 or £27 ish with your trade card.. HF204 0r 303 are correct fitment for Storm and cost about £7, £16 would be for a genuine Honda one, that is expensive though but then It's Padgets, everythings...

Re: Travel abroad documents?

I think the GB sticker is no longer allowed, it now has to be UK.
As said different countries slightly different rules, eg Spain you must display UK separate of the number plate, even if it’s on the plate already. Other rules on google search

Re: Suspension Experiences?

Ohlins or k tech springs, I’d say 0.85kg for your weight and use 10weight oil with a 140mm air gap, this will be a huge improvement over stock. Set you forks 6-8mm further through the yokes and set static sag to 27-28mm. If you don’t drop the front lower the springs will have caused the front to be ...

I seem to remember someone on here got a WP shock rebuilt/repaired not too long ago, does anybody know who and/or where it was done ?

Re: Steering damper

Can't find a pic but they go on right hand side from fork leg to frame via a bracket, they don't generally need a damper though, I've only used one on a bike I raced and that was only due to the tyre profiles back then and the ride height set up I had. On the road I've never felt a need through 3 fi...

Re: Devon Storm 2022 June 17th - 20th Booked

Now full, we have 12 going, sleeping arrangements to be sorted 🤔 as we know it’s 2 singles and a double, this leaves 2 people over as I’m sure no one wants to share a double (except Chris and Michaela).. I will bring my large cushions that open out to mattress, I have 2 of these so all will be good....
