Re: RE: Re: Generator cover inspection bolt
There are sporodic options as I linked and one of the forum members here made a small batch of titanium and ss replacement caps. I'm going to a CNC engineering firm on Friday afternoon and can give them my aftermarket ti to measure up and duplicate in ali/steel. Though bare in mind that the origina...

Re: Generator cover inspection bolt
I've ended up just getting a new stock one from davidsilver spares, £20 though! Ouch.
Wicky, thanks so much for all the useful links, that was really helpful. Just surprised there aren't more custom options available for this part.

Re: Generator cover inspection bolt
Thanks but it's the other one (I shouldn't have said 'inspection'). It's the larger centre one I'm after, the one you remove to turn the crank, the one made of cheese [emoji15] I'll check out the parts link, thanks.

Generator cover inspection bolt
Anyone got an idea where I can get a new generator centre/inspection bolt for the Storm. Ideally one made of stronger material than stock, failing that just a stick one? Thanks

Re: RE: Re: News for twostroke fans.
A modern DI two-stroke could easily have superior fuel economy. Let us not forget that the mechanical drag is much less in a two-stroke (no cam chains, cams or valves to operate), and there is virtually no pumping loss in a two-stroke either. The two-stroke's downfall has always been unburned hydro...

Re: London Terror Threat
[As for banning Islam, personally I would like to ban all religions, they are outdated and backwards and have no place in modern society, and when I say religions, that means ALL, but then as an atheist I demand that other people respect my views, so for me to engage in a campaign of banning religio...

The spring I have seen have been brittle, the material changes with the heat. Was the spring every made to see this sort of heat ? There not very strong at the best of times. I would say that it was a standard CCT they had, applying it to a bike that that has problems when failing. All others models ...

High Level Exhausts - How Much?!
I like the look of high-level exhausts on the Storm but am struggling to find any for less than £550. I'm not overly bothered about getting a top brand, but all the cheaper brands only seem to do variations on the standard level exhausts. Can anyone recomend a specific brand that is cheaper than wha...

Re: RE: Re: A Few Bob,, What to Buy?
Now there's a question because it's hard to say what will be of value in years to come. If only I knew my old RD would be worth something now back in the days. I have a North Face fleece I bought with my jacket years ago and I got told the other day that it's in fashion and worth a fair bit of mone...

So it's ok to advise owners to contact Bazza but not me ? OK I see how it is. Did you happen to bother to read the thread title and what the OP posted the ones which use the Honda auto's. I have a spare set of Honda auto's ready for conversion if needed... if anyone knows the best way to contact ba...

What's the mileage on it mate? Looking for something not much over 5k if possible. Also would you be able to confirm you can attend? Not that low, 13k, but it's pretty mint all round. Can't 100% confirm at this stage, but will check back. No worries if you're looking for something newer/lower milea...
