Re: Carbon hugger for vtr/900 braced swingarm

The brace for the swingarm came off of a 97 Fireblade, the hugger was an E Bay purchase and I cant remember the supplier I'm afraid. This is mine. I don't know what year of blade the brace is off. Mine seems to have a slope on the inside of it and a very small slope on the outside. Wonder what year...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Been playing with this thing for near 3 weeks thanks to back trouble. Came to me as a non runner, no exhausts or carbs fitted, knackered fork seals and needing a service as being holed up for a few years. Been chipping away slowly as back has allowed but today... Grease chain, torque a few nuts and ...

Re: 6 spoke wheels,

What Rob said^ no doubt you will get more if you aint in a rush to sell... rears aint worth much but thew front, I had no trouble selling a straight but scabby looking front for £100 so even at my powdercoaters prices that makes your front wheel possibly £140 worth to the right person.

Polish the arm up nice for sake of cleaning it then went over it with a scotch pad to give it a more brushed aluminium look. Oberon clutch slave fitted, swapped out the front calipers from gold to black. Have som...
