Re: Which vfr bars will fit my 98 storm

I just had a skim through thise links Wicky so kindly gave us, and on the 3rd one it links to a thread on the Superhawk forum, it seems any vfr clipon before 2001 will work as they are all 41mm fork and the later ones are 43. The rest of the stuff was all step-by step how to stuff that seemed pretty...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Ok so today is the day i finalise removing unnecessary previous owner spaghetti wiring. Got this far , part of which involved splitting the worlds most heavy duty heatshrink which the p/o filled with some sort of non-oily lubricating fluid which was literally dripping out as i went so i could sepera...

Re: Choke cable replacement.

Sorry for not checking in, had to put bike on backburner due to life circumstances (and winter) for a bit. Anyway, the carbs came off easier than i thought, and the cable went on easier than i thought, but it was an aftermarket cable, fits everywhere but at the bracket on the frame . Completely diff...

Re: SWM?

SWM were getting a good rapp when they bought the factory and tooling from Husky and were manufacturing the recently superseded Italian-era Husky dirtbikes in Italy. If some of the new models have Chinese engines i would like to believe they might be made to a standard since they have a bit of a rep...

Re: Boris Johnson

Interesting story that on the #10 door. Always wondered about that. As to BJ it just looks to my uneducated perspective like the world now has two trumps. Our own PM is a climate change denying, big coal and oil funding rich people rebating clown. Worrying times. Seems all you need for the top job t...

Choke cable replacement.

Ok so have been using a HRC Racing Peg for a while but have had an aftermarket replacement cable kicking around and finally decided to chuck it on. long story short, ive got tank and airbox off and can see no easy way of getting at the choke cables, so parked it there for a bit to attend other matte...

How to you disconnect fuel line on models with frame mounted c0ck without recreating exxon valdez?
Pinch the line? Surely there is a proper way?

Well if you read the comment section, anyone who uses motorcycle tyres on a motorcycle is ignorant, stupid, a snowflake, gender diverse and votes for Hilliary.

Re: Kate Middleton and Prince William's police escort hits widow

Is it just me that thinks of the incident as very ironic ? This was a cop who sole purpose was to keep an eye open for any obstructions, be it vehicles or pedestrians ! Only to run over an elderly woman ! Hardly a fast moving unavoidable subject. I wonder what would happen if I did it ? I wonder wh...

Re: Little bit more progress....

Got the wheels painted at my work for free, so very pleased with that! Friend painted the forks for free too! Helped balance out the expensive bits! Also realised after I'd put it back together that I forgot the little fork seal protector things! Found them on the bench afterwards! Good excuse to c...
