Yellafella, its more prevention I think not cure. You get it put in your brand spanky new tyre before you have a flat so you don't carry it around with you.

If its same price, might as well let the garage sort it out, providing they let you have the bottle if there's any left

Has anyone seen or got 'Punctureseal'. It aint gonna stop a bow out, but does fix a flat (apparently). £25 for front and back.

Predictable Cupasoup, predictable   I know what you mean though about gear selection. I've started trying to keep at about 4500-5000 rpm especially around town (1st/2nd gear) as any less and its not smooth. I know there is a bit more 'vibration' and engine noise, but I figure the sound o...

Pleased to report bike is running the best it has since I got it. Not much popping from exhaust and everything feels a lot smoother, no jerkiness when you come off the throttle. I have changed the air filter though and this was mentioned by someone in a previous post, as worth doing even though the ...

Can't guarantee I can make it, but will see what I can do. I'm only an hour down the M6. Are you going to be there Sat & Sun. Also where could we meet if I do make it?

Johnny, when you say diaphragm port, do u mean the vac hose port? I wondered whether it was 'seated' correctly and removing it and putting back together may do the trick. It may be physcological, but it did feel better last night, the garage doesn't smell of petrol as much when I open the door and (...

I know Johnny, bit of daft question 'how should it look?'. Anyway, diaphragm looks no different to Daz's on first inspection. Not sure whether to swap or not

Hi Johnny, thanks for your continued interest. I've just bought a petcock of Daz which I am picking up from the sorting office tomorrow and will compare the two. Difficult to tell if its still 'piddling' or not as I haven't had chance to put in many miles since I fiddled. There is def a spring in th...
