if you go into weymouth on the seafront, look just down the road into the town centre and youll see the black dog, not a bad pub and weymouths oldest, otherwise go just round the corner from the train station and youve got the dolphin, again ,not too bad :beer: when i went in there last.. :beer:

yeah, thats what i did, bought a linkage set and rebuilt it, new bearings etc. much easier to do it this way, plus,you dont have to worry about the bike maybe going off road coz of a broken bolt etc...

dunno about them, but iv"e done 40.000 on the same pair of standard plugs, still starts up ok and runs fine, never even taken them out in the last 3 years!!! :thumbup:

gafr here. been using windows8.1 for a couple of weeks now, no problems with it but not a lot in the way of updates. i found that windows8 didnt have many updates either though, so i wouldnt worry about it. set the updates to com e through automatically and then theres no worries at all... :D :D :D

very pissed off today with some bunch of tossers who call themselves Hall & Hanley, asking about ppi claims ( if you want to make one). apparently while i was in work this afternoon, my 15 year old son took a phone call from this group, when asked if he required any ppi claims he said no thanks ...

myself i would rebuild , even if the ccts need replacing. it looks tidy enough from the piccie, besides, as you pointed out, they really are fun to ride, not brill on fuel, but there you go. all in all - rebuild. you wont be upset with it! :plainsmile

have been told that the better springs make a lot of difference, havent tried it myself though. with regards to installing them, piece of piss, all done in situ, drain oil, take off top of shock, take out old spring,put in new, add oil and do back up. job done! :plainsmile
