Re: Is this air filter ok?
I've seen much worse than that, I wouldn't have any issues putting it back in.
The main thing is that it's clean and lets the air flow.

Re: would you buy a 2nd hand Helmet?
I'm not after a fight with anyone either :Argue: I think it's all down to the extent of any force applied to the lid, dropped from a foot onto carpet it's gonna be ok . Dropped from 8 foot up onto concrete it's likely to take some damage. Although the shell is hard it will distort when enough force ...

Re: would you buy a 2nd hand Helmet?
Luckily no damage had occurred as it was a bloody dear Dainese one and I couldn't have afforded a new one again. :D I've had Agv's in the past and been well pleased with them, The only lid I never rated for it's build was a Shoei flip up one that I got when I was being an old (before my time) git on...

Re: would you buy a 2nd hand Helmet?
Which is why when I buy a second hand bike I strip them down and check replace parts as needed. Within my mechanical comfort zone I feel happy and safe to do this. I would not feel safe with lids as I don't have the skills/equipment needed to assess it's safety level. After my last crash I had my li...

Re: would you buy a 2nd hand Helmet?
You can tell immediatly if a helmets been worn a lot or not. Yes you sometimes can , But you can't tell if its had a structural damage inducing knock just by looking. Some lids like my own have got scratches and marks and might not look the best, But I know it's not been dropped. Some can look perf...

Re: would you buy a 2nd hand Helmet?
I've always bought 2nd hand helmets off ebay because I can't afford new, but I only buy the ones advertised as never used or worn once etc. You can get a quality lid like an Arai as good as new and not worn in for as little as £60. That's a saving of about £300. Just got myself an AVG for £51 an...

Nothing to be forgiven for Kev, I've yet to experience the loss of either of my parents and I dread the day I do. Utmost sympathy to you and your family.

Re: Is this V Twin any good....
It's not worth it at all but it is nice. But as turbo billy says you can buy a whole lot of other bikes for the money. Didn't some of Foggys race bikes fail to make the reserve at auction a few months back? I think they thought they would reach £50 ish grand. If foggy got No2 who had this one? duca...
