E250 plate should do it.
I thought this, too, but I have been struck down with a flu/stomach bug thing that's doing the rounds and I didn't trust my own judgement. Thanks!

That's a possibility that I need to consider in daylight! There may be too much possibility of forward/backward movement, but I'll see.

Help, please. Givi Monorack or Monokey?

I have a Givi box and top plate that I want to fit to my winter bike - a Kawa GT550. The plate won't fit straight onto the rack that's on the bike, so, presumably, I need a universal fitting. However, I can't tell if I've got a monokey or a monolock system (apparently different). My box lid can be u...

I commute 60 miles a day and am on first-name terms with the staff at the local petrol station. Not the sort of image I expected from a bike like this!

If you can get hold of the articles in Road magazine that I mentioned, they will be useful, I think. Almost worth joining MAG for them,I'd say :D . If you're stuck, PM me and I'll get copies to you.

Firestorm in Morocco

Any other MAG members read the account of the editor's journey through Morocco in the latest edition of The Road (MAG quarterly)? A Firestorm (ridden by British) was mentioned in passing. Respect to that man - the inconvenience of a short range must take on a different perspective touring there. I c...

I realise I didn't make it clear that I had submitted an estimate for repairing the bike, but even so... I bet it wouldn't have taken much more damage for him to decide to write it off. Without looking at it, of course.

Sorry to hear about your spill. Glad you are in one piece. I got off lightly, damage-wise, in comparison.

Bump! A quick postscript. Third Party accepted liability so TP insurance company finally acknowledges my existence. The motor engineer calls on the 'phone, and the conversation was along these lines; MoE - How much is your bike worth? Me - (Cautious) Couldn't say. Isn't that your job? MoE - Is it li...

Thanks for the good wishes, folks. It's pretty cut and dried, so I'll handle this myself. What is a bit disturbing is the number of calls I've had from various organisations who were given my details by my insurer eBike. One repairer, one legal firm and two who want to rent me a car while the bike i...

The old ones are the best

I got offed by a 4X4 on Thursday evening. Fortunately, it was as low speed as you can get without being stationary, so no injuries. I was waiting to turn left at a T junction and big boy pulls up alongside me, also turning left. When it's clear, I start to pull away, only to be shunted onto the pave...
