Max Power!!

Car-related I know, but it struck a chord with me as an ex 'modifier' of cars :biggrin

Hi m8 First of all I'd stay away from Splitfire plugs. They're well known for causing problems rather than curing them IMHO. Sounds like your carbs may be a bit out of balance. The stalling problem gets worse if they go too far out - even mine which is approaching 18k and has recently had them balan...

Re: ?

Single Sided Swingarm? I keep thinking about doing this but I keep thinking its a lot of dosh for something that is purely cosmetic and might actually upset the handling of a bike that I am comfortable cranking over until she shouts no more! As I read this bit I began to worry, it's sooo out of cha...

It will probably be tomorrow when I can look at it. I might do a clickable version of the menu, I assume netscape supports the mouseclick property? :wink2

Hi there Glad you like the site, and are enjoying your Hawk. :wink2 I did the baffle-ectomy a couple of years ago. The hardest bit is when you've removed all the metal surrounding the inner baffle and you need to dis-lodge the baffle itself. Don't pussyfoot around, give it some serious hammering oth...

If I had access to a document object model hierarchy for netscape I might be able to suss it out.

It's little differences like these which are screwing it up I think:

Explorer:
layer.visibility = true;

Netscape:
layer.visibility = visible;

Cheers for that Al.

Can you test the one I've just replaced it with? If that's ok we'll ask someone with Netscape to test it again but I'm sure there'll be java issues.

Al

Why am I not surprised! :biggrin

I'm pretty new to this java/css stuff so once it worked I left it like that.

Does it give any indicators on what to change to improve compatibility?

Got any javascript validators? :whatever

Well Perl probably returns data as a recordset (literally a set of records!) which will probably have properties, just as a file has properties in windows. If you can print this value to screen it will help you to determine whether data is being retrieved or not. ODBC is Open DataBase Connection, a ...

I haven't used Perl myself, but certain problems and techniques are common throughout different languages. Try to find another function which can be used to verify whether any data is being returned or not. There is probably a .Recordcount equivalent, or maybe a way to dump the returned data to scre...

I'm not sure what it is, but Roger has heard it and said it doesn't sound like a tensioner failure. His money is on it being head or valve related, possibly the clearances. He's also suggested it might be that the clearances are tight on one side of the cam and loose on the other but hasn't heard an...

It's not mad, it's the noise my VTR is making at the moment!

Hopefully it's just the valve clearances. It's going in to revolution soon to have them sorted.

Del's talking baldrocks, the only time his black one's been wheelied is when I was using it to follow him to Bracken MC. :biggrin :wink2 I got pretty good at wheelying mine when I was selling it. Humpback bridges, 2nd gear clutchies etc, but once I'd changed me mind I was crap at it again. Figure th...
