hi thanks all
cut nut off bolt clean fit new nut,going to replace bolt.just want cheapest replacement to practice on,as prices vary firestorm 50 to100 blackbird 30 to60
hornet 15 to60 handy to have spare just in case.

you need gel one ,acid one no good,because battery is on slant ,acid would not cover plates,i was going to get one till battery guy told me hope this helps.

the sensible approach is a new thing for me as i've never had to ask to buy a bike before but i may have to take that approach this time..i'm now getting the picture and no sound treatment(which i hate) and even had to cook my own food today,which was ok as i don't like sunday roasts....i'm thinkin...

I have just ordered some from this guy http://www.kriegercamchaintensioners.com/ he doesnt mention them on his site but he makes them with different sized threaded bits to aid adjustment £49.50 on your doorstep, He is on the american site and they reckon his stuff. You can also get his from ebay b...

dont no if this is much help but, i have 98 vtr small tank i get 40 mpg light comes on round 100 miles when rode steady im 57 ,i do ride it harder but like to conserve fuel bit skint,mate of mine only gets 65 miles to red light,the vtr is thirsty ,but ide rather ride 50 miles on my vtr than 100 mile...

Dont want mine to fail ,im one of the oldest on here ,57 can still use spaners n carb balancers,old mercury ones ,and went to brands hatch to see agostini on mv agusta ,tony mon did you live near brands then or had you not arrived yet,bazza sent you a message i think, us oldies not good with compute...
