Re: Iron Lady
Most of the 'im glad she is dead comments' are from people who dont have a mind of their own and just follow what daddy told them when he lost his job. People have such short memories, they forget that in '79 under Callaghan the income tax rate was 33% and 86% higher rate. They forget that for year...

Re: Tyre changing machines.
That sounds good. I had my car tyres fitted by a guy once and he had a manual balancer which was basically a spike he put the wheel on and he added weights until it stayed perfectly level. I was a bit worried a the time but they ended up balanced as well as any machine had ever done them. No vibrati...

Re: Slightly leaky cct after replacement
I had the same problem on mine but just carefully loosened the lock nut, put some silicone sealant around the base of the thread and re-tightened the locknut. No leak in over a year.

Re: shoei raid 2
I went out to buy a Shoei raid 2 but just couldn't get comfortable in one, tried several sizes. Ended up buying a Shark S900 which so far I am delighted with.

Re: Indicators
Thinks so, will check at the weekend if no-one else has one to hand. Orange lens, smaller rounder cornered ones, isn't it? They're in an unlit stock shed, and I can't see until I can get in there in daylight. Thanks tony, yes they also look longer than earlier ones, presumably I could fit a pair of...

Just managed to snap the rear right indicator off my bike moving it round in the garage!
Looking on ebay they appear to be different on later models, is this right ? Mine is a later 19l tank model.
Also does anyone have one for sale?

Re: Manual cct's problem leaking oil?
Had exact same problem with mine. Just hold the main bolt with a spanner, undo the locknut put some high temp silicone sealant on the thread where the locknut sits and re tighten. Job done, no leaks on mine, been nearly a year now. I see no need for locktite, so long as the locknut is tight it won't...
