Re: front forks and rear shock compatability
Why not just get your forks valved and sprung for you, slap a fork brace on and you've a decent front end for little money, plus to get the best out of the blade forks your gonna need to spring and valve them up aswell! As for shocks, keep your eyes peeled on ebay and the Superhawk forum, they do of...

I recently added 10mm of extra length on my shock and it rode like sh1t, couldnt keep it in a straight line at all!
Hope you dont encounter these issues!

Re: My Black Storm!!
Just a quick update, finally got my braced swinger all welded up, Ill get it popped down to the coaters when I have time! Also solved my brake fade problem, turns out my SP1 caliper pistons are rusting badly, god knows how much crap they've been dragging back into the seals causing the pistons to st...

Re: Hi, some advice ...
If Im been honest, I just run OEM tensioners and take the view on them as a service item every year, done 4k of hard hard riding with a few trackdays thrown in and aint had a problem! However now the bikes been converted to run in Thunderbikes next season I think a set of manuals may be on the cards...

Re: "Easy-Kill" (cheap) Mods!?
Depends where you want to spend your money, looks, handling or engine? Personally, apart from the norm of end cans and a dyno-jet kit Id leave it well alone, infact giving the cost of setting up a dyno-jet kit correctly Id give that a miss unless youe good mates with a dyno guy! I went down the hand...

Re: My Black Storm!!
The bike is looking great BTW and I think I’ll be replicating your brake set up, I’ve soldiered on with the OE set up now and despite SBS sbk pads (no fade from the SBSs although the stock set up probably isn’t working them to hard!!!) and I think it’s about time I sorted them out, and your...

Re: My Black Storm!!
The M/C has done wonders, the feel it offers is unrivalled with all the other M/C's Ive tried on it, and for £175 new it was a bargain! However Ive got SBS pads fitted at the mo and Im getting massive brake fade after 30 or so mile of very hard abuse, so Ive ordered a set of Versah RJL's which shou...

Re: My Black Storm!!
Been a long time since I updates this, alots changed since Feb! lol A few month ago I came off in the wet, pretty much destroyed the whole left side of the bike, bent the forks, yokes, wheel, discs, front and rear subframes, snapped clucth lever and bar, snapped the rearsets, link pipe, end can etc ...

Re: Fork tubes from ALL BIKE ENGINEERING
Incase anyone was wondering, I ended up buying a tube from Wemoto, got it next day and its perfect, lay it next to an OE tube and you cant tell them apart, went together no bother at all!
The difference between the Wemoto and ABE tube is night and day and for an extra £10 well well worth the money!

Re: Fork tubes from ALL BIKE ENGINEERING
Do you mean the external sliding bush or the internal "shuttle" bush? If you mean the internal one, the tubes from Wemoto already come with them welded in place, whereas the ABE ones you have to grind out your old welded in one and hold it in place with a circlip which results in it rattli...

Re: Fork tubes from ALL BIKE ENGINEERING
Ive just ordered a stanchion from Wemoto, its a Paolo Tarozzi tube, reading reviews on other forums suggest there excellent! Bit more expensive at £99, however these already have the shuttles in them so you dont have to grind the ones out of your old legs and risk shagging them! lol And if your won...
